The Boat Shed joins forces with local restaurants to bring Culture Shock Festival to Maroochydore

Local restaurants The Boat Shed, Arnica, Benkii, Lefty's and Still Water have united to host Culture Shock Festival which will feature various functions over 3 days from 16 Sep. The Boat Shed's Dion Spadaro said the festival would provide a great opportunity for local restaurants to showcase their food, while also spreading the message of supporting local producers.

Henzell Family ranked 67 in QLD's Top 100 Rich List

They helped create Caloundra. The Henzell Family has been synonymous with the Sunshine Coast town since Roy Snr opened the first real estate office there in 1935.  And 800ha of scrubby land he bought 65 years ago is now Pelican Waters, a community that's a suburb in itself.  These days, the business is driven by his grandson Roy Jnr, 58, but other family members retain share holdings. Land, property values and real estate sales are well down, reducing the family's wealth, but Mr Henzell know buyers will return one day.

Darren & Stephanie Steinhardt make QLD Top 100 Rich List

Another young couple Darren & Stephanie Steinhardt have tied for the final spot of Queensland's Top 100 Rich List 2011. They founded their Infocus Financial Planning firm 17 years ago and now have dozens of offices around the country, with plans for expansion as baby-boomers move into retirement. Mr Steinhardt, 43, says it has been a very busy couple of years 're-engineering' the business after the GFC and the reputational damage to the industry caused by some high-profile collapses. He's looking forward to spending more time with Stephanie, 42, and their children.
