Al gained over 20 years experience in various Finance and IT roles in Melbourne, before relocating to the Coast with his family in 2007.
“I cut my teeth Managing IT Projects at Mitre 10 head office in one of Australia’s most competitive environments. Projects ranged from multi-million dollar budgets to a few thousand. Projects had to deliver outcomes and be delivered on budget. I learned that the ability to understand different businesses and business processes is critical to success. You need to understand your customer and how they want to operate.”
Al has been managing the Momentum (previously known as Myex) team since its inception in 2007 and now has a diverse range of clients throughout Queensland and NSW. The team boasts a great mix of experience, technical skills, accounting knowledge, report writing and training.
“My approach to software solutions is focussed on providing the outcomes that our customers want and need. Usually our customers have some specific problems or challenges they need to overcome, and we work with them to achieve that. Once that’s achieved we continue to work with them on new initiatives to help improve efficiencies and margins.”
When not working at Momentum, Al enjoys time with his wife Kylie and kids Gabby and Sebastian. He also loves surfing, playing and coaching touch footy and playing acoustic guitar. |
