A Day In The Life

5.30am Alarm goes off and I debate whether to hit snooze or be good, get up and hit the gym.
7.30am My good conscious won and I feel great arriving at work after my Body Pump class. First on the agenda is a quick scan of Xero to see how my clients are progressing with their bank reconciliations. Brilliant, it looks like everyone is on top of things!
8:30am Next priority is to prepare a proposal for a client for their year end tax work. Appears all the information requested has been provided, plus the accounting file is spot on. What a joy!
10:00am Catch up with the Accounting team for our '10 @ 10.10' meeting to touch base and discuss workflow and any bottlenecks.
1.00pm Lunchtime - quick check of facebook and twitter while I enjoy my homemade salad.
2.00pm Lots on this afternoon.. where do I start... Xero setup? Month end budget variance reporting & analysis? Reviewing tax returns and financial reports or researching and preparing advice on contractors?
5.30pm Wow, the day flies. Off home to take our moodle, Bailey, for a walk then cook salmon (my fave) for dinner.
7.30pm Time to relax, watch a bit of TV and flick through one of my foodie magazines.
