A Day In The Life

1.55am I really don't like these early, early starts. I’m woken by the alarm to take son number two to his bakery apprentice job. I must say I prefer the 3.20am start! He's learning to drive and hopefully P plates by Christmas.
5.30am Alarm again goes off…this time it's up and prep for my weekly personal training session …any benefit? Yep!!
8.00am Deliver daughter to school, arrive at work and prepare for the day. Client ’C’ arriving at 8.30am to finish off after yesterday's all day appointment…and so we get stuck in!
11.30am Wow!!! Finished appointment with 'C’,only to jump onto a conference call with ‘C’ again to update us with settlement details. Long story short, the tax office have agreed to settlement with their admission that they saw the error of their ways and our figures are right after all!!
12.30pm Stop for some lunch…and surprise surprise I've actually brought something from home and it's quite delicious (made with my new Thermomix…what a machine!). But I'm no match for Kylie at the office…next stop MasterChef for her!
1.30pm Make some phone calls and emails to arrange appointments with clients. There's a property being purchased and some end of tax year work to get underway….whoever said accounting was boring was definitely having a lend!
2.00pm Nothing for it but to get stuck into the final adjustments on the financials for a finance review as we are working to a tight deadline so our client can have peace of mind before they travel.
4.00pm Leave work to take daughter to outrigging training.
6.00pm Sorry guys but it's takeaway tonight.
10.30pm After tv, reading, washing…maybe I should go to bed?
