Melissa Lovenbury
Manager |
B Bus Accounting (QUT), CA
After completing her degree in 2002 at QUT, Melissa worked at a local accounting firm where she focused on taxation compliance and self managed super funds. While studying for the Chartered Accountant Program in 2005 she met Toni McCulloch, whose powers of persuasion convinced her to join Accounting North where she progressed up the ranks to Manager.
After four years Mel decided it was time to spread her wings and jetted off to London in 2009 with her husband to explore the world and brave the weather. After surviving record snow falls, eating a lot of French croissants, Italian pastas and Greek salads, they both missed the coastal weather and family so much they made the trek back to the Sunshine Coast where Mel slipped easily back into her role at Accounting North.
Melissa enjoys working with a broad mix of clients and industries and takes pleasure in being able to assist clients in improving their financial position and steer their business in a profitable direction.
